I think I did everything right. I put some in the oil, some in the gas tank, some in the intake, and some in the vacume lines. I really hope I did this right!

Fuel tank: Just drive it and that's it.
Oil pan: You MUST change the oil in about 300 miles -- NO MORE than 300 miles or so.
Vacuum lines: You started the truck, right? And poured it into the brake booster line and let it suck it in? Then shut it off for about 5-10 minutes and then started it back up and let the smoke roll?

If you did all of these, then you definitely did it right!

I was in a Speedway gas station yesterday and they had seafoam there for sale.It was of course higher than a parts store would be but they had it.

I have to change the oil in 300 mi?!!!!
I just changed it the day before!
My truck seems to be running odd....It is acting like the clutch is going out but its a new clutch and I drove it accross the nation and I had no problems.

Then you change the oil. What it does is goes through and cleans all the oil passages out and dumps all the buildup into the pan and filter. Thus, with all that extra crap in the pan you NEED to change it.

And, an extra oil change is always good as well!

when i used to work changing oil, we would always tell people that an oil change is the cheepest insurance for a long lasting car. most change at 3000, im a 2000 kind of guy.

I wouldn't since all the gunk from the engine will be in it after the seafoam treatment.I know it suck but it's best you change it.

yup. I have come to the conclusion that the K&N is way overpriced. Get a good FRAM, one of the race versions (we used to have a bunch of them laying around. my boss used them on his circle track car, so i found one that would fit and shazzam!) it will be cheeper and will also do the same amount of filtering

Personally I prefer a purolator pure 1 oil filter. Its better that the low end filter and I don't know about the race Frame ones but the ones you can buy at auto parts stores(extra gaurd, truck gaurd, ones like those) are constructed of cardboard paper s***. I put 3500 mile on one and them cut it open and found cardboard fibers all stuck to the filter.
