I tryed it but I cant get it black because the truck is too light of a color already, when I do it it looks like a charcoal color. sorry.... I did try.

I was also going to mention that when people join forums they are usually looking for help in one shape or form. Whether it's photoshop or answers to problems or advice...etc. I do however understand where you're coming from Tom. It can get frustrating when people join forums simply to get as much out of it as possible and then bail without also contributing.

Just gotta give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes and hope they are here to give as much as they are to take. Welcome to the site again, James. :)

Thanks bro! I was just playing around with some things to get the effect I wanted.. almost did. I started out doing the quick green goofy one.. then I built off that.

I find that my jokes turn into real projects too often and I'm forced to go back and clean up my mistakes.

Patience and attention to detail is the key. If you look at the side, you can see I added reflections to avoid the paint looking flat. Nothing I did to the photo was that hard, just trial and error. Photoshop is so user friendly now anyone can use it. I've been using it since version 3 so I'm a little quicker than normal.

They changed CS3 a little from CS2. There's tons of tutorial sites out there for the self teacher, which is how I learned, just from books not the web. It's a waste to pay to learn cause all they do is read a tutorial to you.
