Ordered my Diff. cover and Richmond install kit from JEGS today. Now maybe I can get those 3.73's and that posi out of the closet. I hope it will really wake this thing up. I have 2.73's right now. Just gotta find the time to get this thing on the rack at UTI.

Are you sure those 3.73's wont be too much? As in lose too much top end?

I didn't even know S10's came with 2.73 gears.

Shouldn't be. It does about 140mph with a tubo 350. I never get on the interstate with it either. It's mainly just to play with.

Holy crap man thats fast! Have you had it up that fast? if so how was the ride? did it feel a little out of hand? as in not tight you know what mean some vehicles get squirly going that fast just not set up for it!
Well I had talked to firefighter about doing the gear swap. I had been wanting 4.10's for a quick boost in acceleration but he suggested not to cause of loss of top end. He has a program and inputted all my specs of my truck and said even the 3.73's wouldnt be good for my application.
It would of been nice to get at least some 3.73's but...
That will def be a great upgrade for your truck going from 2.73 to 3.73 you wont know what hit you! I didnt see if you had a lsd in your rear or somthing to help do you have a one legger?
How is traction with the current set up?

You're gonna need the fat gears for that 2 series carrier.

Got any time slips from Bithlo for that rascal?

Yea, not very stable at 140. I had my friend beside me cuz my speedo only reads 85. Yea, It's one leggin right now. I got a 3-series lsd and gears off ebay.

Haven't had the chance to go yet. I just got down here about 3 months ago for school at UTI. My classes are 7-12pm too so that makes it hard to find time.
