I finally completed my 4.3 cpi swap into my 89' s10. Fired her up and drove it for the first time today. I feel like I'm driving a top fuel dragster compared to the old 2.5 it had. Anyway, I call it frankenstein due to the fact that there were about 3 donor s10 and s10 blazers. I'll post some pictures tomorow.

damn, i got off work too late. Sorry for the delay, pics will be up tomorow for sure. Yea your right it is nice when everything finally works like its supposed to. The truck is currently at my in-laws place and my father in-law cant stay away from it,lol. Right in front of the house there is like 2 or 3 40 yard long burn out marks, I got the coolest in-laws.

and the power plant. I'm gonna toss those fenders for the blazer's fenders fix what door dings it has but other than that it is pretty straight. Still needs some cleaning up under the hood its dirty and I got to put some wires away. The blazer next to it is the donor. So far total cost is....
-s10=free
-s10 blazer donor=free
-misc. parts to make her run and legal=$500

The blazer I got it out of was a 92, I beleive between 92 and 96 these engines were used in the s10 blazers and astro/safari vans. This thing was the devil as far as getting it running but well worth the effort. Does anyone know were I can get a 02 simulator?

Oh and is there a cheap alternative to some sort of intake? The blazer was missing the whole unit and I looked at the K and N set up and it was pricey. Maybe someone here has something for sale?
