Ok heres the deal I have a company I have been dealing with for almost 2 years. I am getting ready to place a bulk order for hids becouse of christmas comming up. So i am going to pass the savings on to you as well. the price is dependant on the amount ordered. I have ordered 10 at a time befor and they run 75 shipped. I ordered 50 for a friend once and the deal was almost as cheap as buying a good set of headlight bulbs. let me know if anyone is interested and depending on how many people are interested i can get the price and shipping info.
Also For the sale I will need bulb size and K color.

ok everyone is forgetting the bulb size they need. i need both bulb size and kalvin rating
Xtreme24
11-24-07, 08:41 PM
ok, let me just point out that anything over 4300k is uselss light. 6000k is probably the highest temp. that you should go to. I have 8000k in my S10 and all I can say is that I'm glad its only my show truck. Also, HID's in a factory halogen housing can cause a horrible glare for other drivers and the light isn't dispersed like a true HID. If you are going to buy these use the money that Perry3147 is saving you and by a projector housing as well.
Here is some good reading on PNP HID Kits
Pros and Cons for Plug n Play Kits:
Pros
- Ease of installation: It is very easy for anybody to install a PNP kit. It can generally be done in a afternoon with common handtools
- Everything needed is right there: Generally, everything you need to hook them to your vehicle comes in the kit. No searching for parts.
Cons
- Glare: Glare is excessive light that is seen by oncoming motorists. Because you are putting three times the amount of light into a housing that wasn't designed for it, you run the risk of increased glare. The amount of this is dependant on the design of the housing. Some vehicles have horrible glare problems with PNP kits. I will say this, the 98-up Series headlamps do not have as much of a glare issue as first thought. Care should always be taken after installation though to re-aim the headlights properly to reduce the amount of glare.
- Lack of performance: The HID bulb has approximatley three times the output of a regular halogen, but if this output isn't harnessed properly, much of it is wasted. Because you're using a housing that was never designed for HID, some of that light is going to waste. This can be thought of like having a 180hp V6 truck. Sticking a 540hp engine in it will make you faster, but without the suspension and tires(HID optics) some of that power ends up as wheelspin.
- Lack of color: With a PNP kit in a standard reflector housing, you generally have to decide between color or performance. The more you want of one, the less you'll have of the other.
3000k= Yellow
4100-4300k= White
6000k= White/Blue
8000k= Blue/Purple
10000k and above= Purple
Using a 8000k bulb will give you a bluish purple output. This blue/purple light is seen by you behind the wheel while you are driving and is also seen by oncoming motorists outside of the vehicle.
But there are downsides to using a high kelvin bulb. After approximately 4000-4500k, the output of the bulb decreases as the kelvin rating goes higher. The 80000k and above can lose 1/3 to 1/2 of their total output. Also because this colored light is visible to you, you have a much harder time seeing. The human eye and brain is at it's most efficient with white light. It has a harder time seeing with colored light.

I have those silverstar ultra headlights in now and people hate my ass. They are always flashing highbeams at me. When I had my honda s2000 with HID's, they dont compare to the bulbs in my truck. Dont know if its b/c I angled the lights up just a little bit and I am up higher, But I can see farther and wider. Still wouldnt mind having the HID's though.

I tried the regular Silerstars once and they werent as asvertised IMO. I got Optx by Streetglow and Nokya bulbs. I like them and they last just as long as any other bulb. I get flashed too. It sux for them when I actually flash the highs back at them. =) hehehe

ok these aren't bulbs! These are full hid convertion kits. the life on these is expected to be 10+ times the life becouse there is no filiment. I have had my set for over a year and they are on everytime i start my bike and i put over 10,000 miles on the bike this year alone. No problems at all.
ok so as of right now the kits are going to be $75 shipped(usa).
I need to know the bulb size you need. Also the Kalvin trmp(the color) 3000k - 30000k (15000k(purple) and 30000k(pink)special order)
I am going to try to make this a regular price for the fourm if we get enough people for the first order. I have an order for 5 set's if i get orders from here for 5 more they will be $75 a set. If we get more than 5 orders from the fourm the price will drop. how much depends the number of orders. Here are the color's i can get. again THESE ARE NOT BULBS. THESE ARE H.I.D. CONVERTION KITS.

Depending on when you are going to order them is my thing. I have PayPal, but the funds are not there as we speak...but I can arrange it.
My interest would be in the Low-Beam 9006 bulb style.
My color would be the 8000K temp style as pictured above.
I need just 1 kit.
It would be better for me if they are less than $75 or max of $75 shipped.
So get on the wagon people!! =)

Wow I was sittin here wishing I could afford 1 kit at $75 then realize I'd need two for low and high beams...ouch...no can do. I'm sure I wouldn't "have" to get two kits and could just get one for low beams but idk...I just don't think I could do it, not this time of year anyway...not to mention I don't know how it all works. Install and what not. What bulb size I need.. If there are other people who might be interested if the price drops let us know because there may be a lot of people who are thinking that and if we all joined in, it would be cheaper.
Perry3147

ok the warrenty on them is 1 year you have to ship them back and the send you a new one.
As for when the order is going to be placed.
onec i have 5 orders i will put a last call up if there are any extra orders they will be used to bring the price as low as i can get it. the price i post is the shipped price(to your door). as of now it is $75.00 a set for single beam or single beam hid and xeon high beam(see pic below). the dual beam full hid kits are a little more. PM me with bulb size and color. once i get 5 names ill get all the other info i need (shipping address and other stuff). I'am going to cover the customs charge on all the shipping so don't worry about that.here is a pic of the bulbs. this is not all the bulbs i can get. If its not a common bulb let me know ill make sure i can get it before i place the order. the dual high/low(H/L) bulbs shown are the style for $75 shipped. i am still trying to get the price down on the 100% hid dual kit. these kits are as easy to install as changing your regular headlight bulbs. NO CUTTING they are PLUG AND PLAY
http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n196/jperry3147/a8_1_bo.jpg
would like to get the order in by the 12-10-07 that way they are here before christmas. PM me with the color and bulb size.
ALSO THE MORE ORDERS THE CHEAPER THE PRICE!! I will post up todate price's aas they change.

11-25-07, 11:43 PM
oic. So the full HID kits with H/L are $109? That's better than $150 for 2 kits, haha. Still a bit high in price though don't think I can do it. One of those "would be nice but not necessary" things. Maybe someday.

that is true for 9004, H4, 9007, H13 100% hid kits (hid high beam hid low beam).
the $75 H/L kit have a Hid low beam and a xeon high beam bulb.
so 98+ s10 uses 9006 low beam bulb and a 9005 high beam bulb
so if you wanted both high and low beam hids you would need 2 kits $150($75 a kit) i have hid highs and i thing i have had them on maybe twice due to the amount of light from just the lows.
if you have a 97 blazer and have the composit headlights they use 9004 bulbs
so you could get one of 2 kits $75 HID low beam and xeon high beam kit
or
$109(working on getting it down for the order) HID high and low beam kit
here are some sizes i know i can get
BULB SIZES:
•H1 •H3 •H4/9003(Hi/Lo) •H7 •H8 •H9 •H10 •H11
•H13/9008(Hi/Lo) •9004(Hi/Lo) •9005 •9006 •9007(Hi/Lo)
•880/881 •D2S/D2R

I have a set of true HIDs on my Maruader. They are bright as $hit! I only got the low beams because I wanted the white/blue 10,000K... in order for me to get the high beams, I would have had to drop down to the 8,000k low beam and then they send you a 10,000K for the high beam.. It worth just getting the low beams! Pluse, the low beams are so bright, I don't even have to think about getting a high beam. Now I'm saving up the money becuase I wanna do the fog lights next.
Put me down for Low Beam 9006 - HID Kit 10,000K blue/white.

Yeah. I dont see where the red flag is. Its an informative site, but to be honest I dont see anything against doing a set of HIDs. Did I miss something? Even if they say tomorrow that a certain bulb is illegal, I dont think its gonna get anyone in trouble right off. I see people with busted taillights driving at night. So the back is white light instead of red. They usually get a warning if caught. Florida doesnt do vehicle inspections anyways. There are laws on neons. Mostly color specific and you are suposed to keep the actual tube hidden and only the light can show. But I see those still not in accordinance with laws. As far as them being not bright or something.....that would be a rediculous claim. I know suposedly using the stock headlamp housing is not good for a HID since the diffused lens results in poor light projection. But there are plenty of clear faced housings availible cheaply. My friend just got a '06 GTO and it had the opt OEM HIDs. Those are very bright and light up wider and farther than my upgraded bulbs and wiring...behind my diffused headlams housing. Anyways, I think its cosmetic appeal to most. I personally see better at night with the white or bluish-white lighs. Rather than the stock yellowish light.

Okay, Mikz got the idea: Best if used with a projector setup. But did anyone watch the video? I mean, have you taken that into consideration before ordering these gymnasium lights? Yes, gym lights work the same way! Learned it when I was a boy.
Perry3147
11-28-07, 08:22 AM
Ok guys sorry I switched shifts at work and with school it got a little tuff to watch as much as i want. any way.... If you read the website they talk about E grade or E headlights. Well the E is for european. Not USA if you have a euro head light with a true glass lens you might have a problem. US headlights use Plastic lenes. I don't know if anyone has seen that sight before but i have and i have relayed my headlights. It gives you more light but no where close to what HIDs give you. also you go through alot more bulbs becouse of the voltage and high amp's. Guys HID's are the safest and easy way to get the most light on the road. That web site has alot of great info. But i think it was already said. If you are worried about lossing light and affecting other cars. Use the money you save on the HIDs and buy a set of projectors.
Also just so you guys know the kits I am talking about I sell in my shop for $200-$300 a set. let me know after school i am going to post the list of names, sizes, colors i have so far.

Wish I could, but all I have is that knowledge in my head from watching the gym teacher show us how the lights work with the special key needed to work the switch. And telling us that if she left it in the up or down position, it would keep cycling like a machine gun when you hold the trigger. So, I could be wrong and those lights just use relays, but it sure don't seem that way when I take in what I read years later about H.I.D.s in a magazine when they first appeared. Sorry, no link to that either.:(
Perry3147
11-29-07, 08:22 AM
ok i have these in my truck and have no problems with them doing that other than when my battery is dead and i mean dead. the reason they use that special key in gym's is becouse of stuff catching on the switch(father inlaw is a teacher) they dont want balls or jump rope's and other stuff. alot has changed since I think you read about HID's. the ballest now have the iginters in the ballest. And I have only had them not light well high beams. I was using them on a dark road and cars where passing about every couple min. I shut them off to pass a car turned them back on and they didn't fire(the only time). shut them off and turned them back and and they work no problem.
Guys I am telling you these are a top quality kit the second best i have seen and the other was way over $300 a set. let me know color and bulb size. The date might move back depending on a check i am waiting on but will be ordered asap.

Yes if you order the correct size they need no modification.
i had a set of hid bulbs and they overheated my stock wiring harness on my 04 blazer x the dealrship explained that when the wattage exceeded the wirings limitations it overheated and melted the plug and part of the wire ... so my question to those before the kits are installed do they rely on the factory plugs with the higer wattage bulbs?? i do understand that it has a converter for the kit but this is from experience hid bulbs produce more heat than a standard halogen bulb....just from experience these bulbs can cause damage to your stock wiring for your lighting that in the end the warranty from these kits will not pay you for....
Perry3147
12-12-07, 01:21 PM
ok
1. these are not high watt bulbs(what you had) they are true H.I.D. kits. they are only 35watts and have about twice the out put lums of the high watt bulbs. and without the risk to the wiring. look at it this way a good set of high watt bulbs is around 30-40 bucks. the kits are 75 to your door. bulbs last about 6 months or so H.I.D.'s last around 5 years or so.

Yes the kits are still for sale. the time right now for 9006 has almost been a month becouse of a production problem. all others are only a 1 week wait. once the order is placed.

yes i did get the whole order other than the 9006 kits. they had a defect and recalled them befor they shipped. I am getting ready to place another order from people i goto school with. the only thing i am not ordering is 9006 kits this order since they are still on back order. and i am still waiting on 3 sets including mine. looks kinda funny now since i have high beams and fog lights but not low beams. so as for now all kits but 9006 are getting ordered.

Hey!
I'm just checking to see if the HIDs have come in yet? I haven't been able to get on the internet for a little over a month due to my new job. I still don't have the internet... I'm currently on the library computer. Is there any word fromt he factory as to when they might have fixed their problems and shipped the kits? If it looks like it will still be awhile, I think I'm gonna need my money back :( I'll have to place an order another time.
Just let me know. I'll try and check this site again next week sometime. I'm not sure when that will be though.
Thanks!!
Natalie

Okay, I am getting rid of my truck so I will no longer be needing my HID kit. Can you please refund me my money? IT can be refunded to my paypal account. egyptian_sun@hotmail.com

I have a feeling that it was a scam......
I hope you get your money back, but as new as that guy was and throwing out a discount like that I just stayed away

X2. I dont think anyone ever recieved the kits. Furthermore its been so many months and he still claims to have issues getting them in. Not trying to be an a$$ and call this guy out, but it sure does seem shady.
Perry - if there has been some type of miscommunication or this was indeed a honest post/sale, then Im sorry. But if you came here to scam our members, you will be banned and investigated further. My suggestion is to be upright and honest, and refund ALL members money for these kits.

Thank you for the response and aid to BlackLS.
We were just worried since youve not been on in a while and these kits had not showed up either to the buyers.
We just are looking out for our members as always.
