i need help with headlights i have a 96 s10, i had in a set of wagner halogen lights, don't know if they came stock with the truck or not, but they weren't bright enough so i switched over to sylvania silverstar headlights which are supposed to be the brightest headlight and i don't notice much of a difference, now is it because of the sealed beams that i don't get good performance or is it something else, i don't think i need them aimed cause they seem to be going in the proper directions, if anyone can help i would love it
thanks

Do they look weak when viewing from inside or outside?

they look weak when viewing from inside, i did actually have to aim them a bit, there aimed properly now but there still not that great, i have seen better, especially on sealed beam sylvania lights

You need a meter and check the voltage at the lamps

I had the same problem, and was deeply disappointed with 'em. I thought they might equal what I got from Wagner BriteLites I had in my '85 when I got them... I was wrong. Wagner's BriteLites are still available, just look for them at any Napa autoparts store. I'm gonna get some as soon as I have a few bucks to spare after I replace my steering gearbox and get an alignment done. Oh, I should mention that my story is in reference to my '94.
