'84 z28 camaro wreck

Here was my flawless camaro I owned. Fully loaded ground effects everything not a scratch on it. One day a woman decides to pull out onto one of missouris biggest highways texting on a cellphone not paying attention about 20 feet away from me and I tboned her going 60mph with the brakes locked. (The fords front frame was shifted about 4" to one side afterwards). My sub frame was shuved back to the carb. Only injury was whip lash thank god.

Wow. Glad there weren't any more intense injuries! Do you have any pictures of the Camaro from before the accident? Looks like it was an awesome car...damn shame...

That hurts to see.
I had my TA crashed into the side of once in a parking lot. I was in my workplace for an early morning meeting. Its was a CircuitCity install bay I worked at years back. We were in the shop area with the doors closed and my car was in a parking space behind it. All I heard was screeching tires, BAM!! and then my alarm going off.
The kid was late for the meeting, came in the lot speeding in his 4Runner and locked them up on the dew-slicked pavement.
I didnt know weather to cry or kill!
I just knew they were gonna try to total it cause of the age. But a new drivers door and front fender and it was fixed. I did get the aging red paint repainted entirely out of the deal. So that was a bonus. Still tho, until then the car had never been crashed.
On a side note they gave me a GreenCavalier as a rental. Wish I had videos of that. Thursday night at the street races, off-roading, e-brake pulls, etc...... Hehehe

My parents live about 70 miles south of Sedalia, in Urbana. I'll be up there for Christmas.

It's about 50 miles north of Springfield on highway 65.

ah i've probably passed threw it a couple of times then. springfield is about a 2.5hr-3hr drive from here depending on traffic conditions

lol well im glad to hear the get betters but this was about 3 yrs ago..it was my first camaro i had (owned 4). ya the whiplash went away about 2weeks later i should of went to the hospital but eh trooped it out insted. plus i knew the woman and the truck was my dads old truck he sold to that family along time ago lol. i thought i recognized it and sure enough it was her so i didn't press charges.

Ya I could of. I had lawyers calling me that read the news paper article. The funny thing is there was 5 wrecks 5days in a row in the exact same spot. And my sister wrecked her 91firebird the day after me =/. She had a minor fender bender and they gave her 3600$ and i mean minor it looked like someone took a baseball bat and hit teh headlight and the corner of the hood and fender at half power. I told the insurance lady I was like hey...if you think hers is totaled come look at mine and she came down into the garage and her jaw dropped. And I had to settle with 2 grand =/. To bad there isn't a quote as "beyond totaled"

Yea, that's an old case against McDs.. from the late '90s, maybe even the mid '90s.. f'ed everything up in this country when people started to win crazy, stupid lawsuits.. hmm.. it was right around the time of the OJ trial, too.. but I won't touch that.. haha ;)

yeah there was also a guy who purchased a new rv (make i'm not sure of) set the cruise left the drivers seat and proceeded to make himself a cup of coffee or go to the bathroom. the RV left the road and of course crashed rolled and all that good stuff..the guy sued got a new rv out of the deal and a ton of money....and now that everytime a crazy lawsuit that is filed and won it is put in to what is called the stella awards since the mcdonalds coffee lady's name is stella somethin'

no I didn't sign a waiver of any kind. I got so fed up fighting the insurance company going back and forth. They orignally tried to give me 1200$ for the car which I laughed and hung up on the B****. Finally two weeks later I said screw it and settled on 2k's and called it good.

If you are hurt get an attorney, Next time you are in an accident go to the hospital right after the accident then call an attorney and start therapy cause that will help you get better and will help the case for you to get a settlement cause this is a big inconvience for you.... now your beloved vehicle is messed up and all this time you have to deal with crap and for this person being an idiot and hurting you now you are hurt and have to deal with this crap

well this was like 2yrs ago and plus i knew the woman so i didn't want to press charges on her and sue her. I was just happy she or I was not hurt badly. the cop said god must of been lookin out for me that day cause he hadn't seen a wreck that bad w/o someone being seriously injured or killed. but im not the one to sue over that i could of easily since in her statement she said she was texting on the phone but i knew her well and ya ironic.

nah if i was hurt i'd make damn sure her insurance company knew about it and pocketed a little for myself but i wasn't hurt to bad only whip lash and a bruise from the seat belt. if it was worse like broken bones then i would of sued her but eh im a nice guy.

Well i only got wip lash from my accident and i am paying for it, I am so damn sore. oh did i mention i also got 4 herniated discs from it too only found that out from the mri cause i have had a headache for alsmot 3 damn months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
