Not to sound like I dont care which isnt the case..but what the heck were all those people just doin standing there watching that damned thing come in in the first place i mean...run man RUN!..that would have been my first reaction...(THAT IS IF i DIDNT HAVE MY TRUCK..IF I DID I WOULD HAVE DRIVEN THE THING LIKE I JUST STOLE IT TO GET AWAY!)

Over one million people homeless in JUST India.This is gonna be very huge to the entire planet because of the size of this desctruction.And it might now be over yet.They are possible after shocks happening that could dish out the same amount of water again.This is HUGE.

I agree completely dont get me wrong...guess i just looked at it in the wrong way then..hope I didnt offend anyone with that last statment. It is a major tragedy and not one I would like to expieriance up close.

It is a major tragedy and not one I would like to expieriance up close.No no no I didn't take offense to it I was just passing along the info to you.I thought the same thing before I watched the news and found out what had happen.The people in those countries had no clue what was heading towards them.Because there goverments didn't install the equipment that would have given them warning what was on the way.And actually we don't have the equipment on our eastcoast from Newyork down to Florida.Because it is so rare for a Tsunami to hit in the Indian ocean and our eastcoast they didn't and we don't think the equipment is needed.God help us if this doesn't scare the hell out of our country to get the needed equipment to warn us if this happens to us.I think there is equipment on our westcoast because this has happen to Alaska before.In I think 1964 it was a huge Tsunami that hit Alaska's coast line.But not as big as this one that has wiped out countries in the Indian ocean.Again god be with the family of the people there.

they should have that stuff in the Atlantic because i read something about Halifax getting blasted back in the 20's er something like that and it wiped out the whole town!

Last one was 40 years ago from what they were saying and its things like that where Mother Nature goes ape shyt when we get ice ages and stuff.
