I don't know anything about this grill other than it's a universal grill insert. I looked at it last nihgt at Advance and it looks like it's a cut to fit sort of thing. What I was wondering is this...how does it mount in the grill?

Does anybody have this grill or one like it and what do you think of it?

I don't think it would look right. The vehicle specific ones are 3D and that will be flat.

The way to mount is to leave squares of extra material that you can bend and either rivet or epoxy it to your grill shell. IDK if that makes sense to you

Best bet i to get a real grille to replace the current one instead of moding

Epoxy would work. But I personally dont like mesh grills. Billet looks alot nicer, IMHO.

And here is the link for yours from the place I got mine...

The one's on stylin don't look a whole lot different. I know the Mr Grille one says it's made out of T6 alluminum but the stylin one might be as well. Very easy install. Worth it IMO.

97' with a dark gray grill. I'm either going to paint it black, color match it to the truck...white or get a chrome one.

APC is out of business.
That grille is just a genero ricer style that quite frankly looks like chickenwire you get at the Lowes.
The best looking grilles are either the straight billet bars, the StreetScene grille which is a unique copywrighted decign or the stainless mesh like the Caddy V-series has. Ive never found a pre-cut mesh style. But Prescision Grilles makes them for some models.
You have a 97 'Noma or S10?

I have a 97 S-10. I'm gonna go with the straight billet grill insted.

IMO the billet looks best in the 97 year grille. I like the SScene speed grille in the 98-up tho. I had one I scored off the Flea-Bay, but I ended up reselling it. Just decided I wanted to keep the flash up front down a bit. But I still think they look good

This place is cheap. I have no idea of the quality or fit but I'm going to try them for my truck.

Yeah, I'm going to check the local performance shops around here and see if they carry them. I'm also going to check the bay. Thanks for the advice guys and gals. Good to know I can bounce things off you folks.

WOW thanks Eric. I'll check it out.
