exhaust help

i'm looking for advice on my exhaust, i want to put a louder exhaust on my 2.2 litre 4 cylinder truck and want to basically do a quick muffler swap, i was thinking of cherry bomb, something to give it some rumble and not sound like a little honda, no offense, if anybody knows of a brand of muffler to buy or whatever i would have to do to get that sound without swapping to a v8 drop me a line

Check out the exhaust threads. I know there's one on there of a good sounding 4 cyl.

A glass pack WILL make a four banger sound like a honda.. maybe not as bad but still. I say put a flowmaster clone on there. It'll still sound kinda ricey but there's not much you can do w/ only four cylinders.

You wont ever be able to make a 4-banger sound like a V8. If anything, you could make it sound like a stock V6. But the trick is to try to keep the tone down low. Check mine out. http://www.s10planet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8789

just cut off the muffler and put a turndown on the pipe
