alternator bracket rattle wtf

my alternator bracket is rattling when i accelerate or idle up. its very loose and i think i have a bolt broke off in the block. anyone ever had this problem before??

Yes, it's not uncommon for the bolts to loosen and snap the heads off. Good news is the broken part usually threads right out with a pick.
