I just pulled up some pics on google images of the MP 15. Looks Identical to the M4... i dont get it. whats different? does it shoot something other than a 5.56mm?

The MP15 is what Smith and Wesson calls their AR-15 line. They use a lot of other companies parts and stuff, but with their name stamped on the side. They're nice rifles, but I could assemble a rifle just as good for a lot less.

He actually got a pretty good deal on it. There was a sale here in daytona beach for the rifle and 2 clips which was $700 and for another $100 you could buy a .40 S&W with 2 clips. Not bad for $800 for brand new stuff....not used.

Seriously....I was wondering how the military could constantly fire those guns....and now I know them things have little to no recoil....I will throw up a vid when my foot heals from the surgery

I know both the M4 and the M-16 have "buffer springs" on the inside of the rifle that pushes the bolt back forward and takes the force away from your shoulder. If I find a vid explaining that, I'll post it.
