is it possible to change the gears in a four wheel drive I would like to go to 4.10's but I need to do the front and wasn't sure if you could do that. also any know how much it will cost to have that done. I would also be putting a posi in.

I dont know of anyone that likes doing the front ends of these trucks. It is doable , but not nearly as easy as the rears , so it will cost you some bucks to find someone to do it!! Cant tell you what it will cost, you'll have to ask around local places that do this and see what they charge. Ive been told here its cheaper to find the front end with the gears in it than to swap them out!

Like MASTER said,it's going to be alot.Parts(if im guessing right)$300 for gears and $400-$1000 for 2 posi's,and the labor.........i don't even want to guess!

you know blazen, you just may not like these 410 if you drive your truck alot.there great off road though!

Some good off road only tire's and wheels and a offroading driver's school will get you more than the part's.IMO

its 4 wheel drive but its lowered so I wont be taking it off roading. right now its my daily driver so I might hold off for alittle while on the gears but I should be getting another vehical so when I do that this is going to become a project truck. I just want to make the truck a fun truck to drive not a race truck. I want to keep it reliable so I dont want to do anythig crazy to the motor. I want to keep it all mild performance parts but to get the little extra power I was going to do gears. I dont want to do a posi in the front just back. I only use 4 wheel drive if I get stuck in the snow so thats just there if I need it.
