I'm having alls kinda hell from my speedo. About a year ago I had to replace the drive gear in the tranny cause it had gotten eat up and now its acting the same again. Its too cold and wet to go crawl under the truck and pull the new one out to make sure its the same problem again but I'm prolly gonna have it out this weekend. Anybody got any idea why the tranny would be eating these things up. The last one was the one that came on the blazer and was 20 years old so I didn't think anything of it going out. This one being a year old is throwing a flag that something is up. Its in a 87 blazer 4x4 2.8 auto so of course being a 4x4 the dealer here doesn't stock the right one since its on the other side compared to the 2x version.
