Mine was 12.5 to 1 with 250 cheater series.....yep finally blew head gaskets from too much compression...wasn't really on planning to be a nitrous motor but got a great deal on the system and could not stand not using it!!! Youth????:D

Wish someone would make diff covers like that for a 10 bolt. Make placing the link a lot easier for the lowered guy to.

My buddy's and I just finished up my truss last night up front. Looks like I am gonna use C/O's or airshocks as I don't have much
room for coils. I need to get tabs to mount my lower links and then some for the upper link as well.Here's some pictures during progress.

Big Tires take you places. But Small Tires big lift looks gay , and generally has higher COG. Which means more chance of rollover. The shorter it is with biggest tire possible makes things really nice. My tire's didn't rub heres some pictures.

he wont be running dual wheels, its just that H1 rims have like 7" of BS and they will hit the brakes and steering arms if you dont run a DRW axle.

Little update. Been acquiring some tooling ,and working on misc stuff. Here is what I have been working on .

Doubler Had a friend weld a block off plate in , and cut a plate for the doubler. Need to call madrooster , and get a shaft ordered. Other than that I need to cut the center , and drill some holes. Started working on building a bender , almost done with it just need to finish boring some holes.

I finally bought a tank for my welder , and got a plasma , and it is great.

This weekend I also bought 5 Hummers , and Tires (to cheap to refuse, and seeing as I am dually F/R . )Also bought a bumper that was on my buddys rig before he cut it up . Here is some pictures .

I am waiting on a Buddy of mine to come up in a week or so to setup the Front suspension. He unfortunately is serving jail time this weekend due to a DWI he got last weekend. So hopefully next week he can ask his probation officer to let him leave the state.

Here are some teaser pictures....

I can't say on springs etc... Truck had a 5" IFS lift with rear springs and SOA before.. I made a perch about 1" taller than stock. The H1 Wheels have 7" of backspacing And I am Running Dually Hubs up Front. The Rear I am using DRW Hubs as well till I find some SRW Hubs. The Single Rear wheel hubs will actually widen it up to match the front.

I am going to be Running Sway Away Air Shocks up front 18's so I can't really give you an Idea on spring there either....

I like it. I am still debated and doing some calculations in my head if it is easier and better to just swap a S10 body on my K5 set up or solid axle swap a S10 and use all my 1 ton stuff from my k5. Just have to see. Thanks for the pics.

A lot easier putting a cab on a truck than setting up a suspension. But the s10 frame is boxed... If i had a K5 I woulda done it that way... Oh well... These frames suck in most places to try and mount stuff...This is number 2 I know ;)

On the K5 frame note, I went with it because my s10's frame buckled on the jack one day... bought a K5 with a crappy body for a grand and the rest is history!

More Progress this weekend....

Well been making slow progress , waiting for parts. This weekend the plan is to blaze through the links ,and get the full hydro all done . Then make some Cross members ,and other misc things. Anyways I will update as I progress hope she is sitting on tires tomorrow night. Today we started at 4 made some decent progress but called it a night after the cops showed... Here is pics...

Oil pan can easily come out. Thing is I am gonna remove that engine x member because we found out it will interfere with my hydro ram. So I am gonna be changing that up a bit. As to pulling the trans/trans pan I am willing for it to be a ***** in order to not sacrifice strength where I feel really matters. Essentially the T cases get removed trans pulls back , and drops down forward. :)

Scrapped the 4 Link Up front in Favor of a 3 link . Only way to get full potential from the suspension .
