just pondering out loud and throwing an idea out there..

Should we look into adding another (sub?)forum or two for internet/ebay finds so we dont end up with these HUGE threads on parts of interest or end up stuffing the Open Forum with them?

Possibly in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum have the following sub-forums added
< Ebay Auctions >
< Craigs List >
< Other Forum Finds >

Threads could be labeled with the specific item name - date of post would of course be automatic from the forum software. Easy find for items/and how current.

This would also allow discussion about a pecitular item like we see in the "Parts of interest found" threads to be limited to that one specific item - readibility and easier access type feature for us. Also no sorting thru 4-5 q/a posts to find the next item of interest.

Im not faimilar with this forum software, but making posts limited to 30 days inactivity then delete/archive might be a good way to keep the section 'fresh' - if thats a viable programmable/automatic option.

Its been YEARS since i had admin access on any forum setup.. but my fogged brain seems to remember an option like this somewhere in there (this was phpbb).
