I wish I could get the measurements off of a rancho lift kit to make my own.

I was just getting ready to make this thread myself. Thanks for beating me to it ;)

So I called a local 4x4 place tonight to see if they would be up for doing it. I told them the reasoning and referenced the method the superlift 6" kit uses. They told me it's not really possible: that the 6" kit drops everything down including control arms, and that there wouldn't be room w/out moving everything down.

I have a hard visualizing this stuff w/out actually seeing it as I'm thinking about it, so I really can't figure out if he knows exactly what he's talking about.

I want to call superlift and see if they'd be up for doing a modified run of the diff drop hardware. There are a couple other local shops, so maybe they will be interested. I'll try to make at least one more phone call tomorrow.

Neo, are you thinking of Rancho or Rough Country? I know that Rough Country makes a kit for s-series, but I didn't think that Rancho did, or at least doesn't any more. And are you talking about the one from the 6" kit? Or was it for a 2" kit?

Not me, I'm just running the banner in support.

Ranchos kit was called a 3 but gave closer to 4-5 of lift. It was better designed than most of the crap that is out there now.
