I posted the ****ing V-6 info in the V-6 section for addl. comments and what not and not ONLY does it get moved it gets LOCKED!!! GODDAMMIT!!!

We almost always lock tech section threads.It keeps nothing but the article to be read instead of responses taking it away from the topic.To keep the tech sections tech only.If there are questions about a tech article people usually start a new thread and if need be the actual tech article gets changed with the new info if needed.

I haven't saw the thread so I can't comment on the location. As far as being locked. I never lock my topics because like you I would like some input on them. However, informative tech threads should be locked just to keep it with strictly information and not a bunch of b/s posts like some people like to do. If you want to post in regards to a locked topic then just start a new thread with comments. It's up to the mods/admins to lock topics. If you don't want your topic locked then next time when you post type in there not to lock the thread or something. That's the only recommendations that I can give. Now I don't want you to feel like I'm trying to tell you what to do or that I'm siding with anyone because I'm not.

I don't see how my response was "official"but oh well..I was just telling the plain truth.I don't know what topic your refering to because ive not seen it.But its the same on every board out there when it comes to tech sections.They are almost always locked to keep the actual topic from getting whored to death.Don't believe me then just go look at all the tech sections on other boards.Like stated earlier if you think a tech thread has some wrong info in it then start another topic about it.Then if it's found to have wrong info it can get changed.But if it's not then there is no reason to touch a locked tech thread.
