I picked up a Sierra Wireless 595U Broadband internet modem today. I was using my Sprint Samsung A900 phone as a modem B4. It was OK, but slow. I could actually online game on it, but would get kicked form some servers for my poor ping rate and slow connection.
I got it for $79.99 after instant rebates, and the Sprintstore gave me another rebate for $50 to mail in. And they even gave me a prepaid envelope. How cool is that? So its going to be like $30 for this device.
I reloaded the new Connection Manager after removing the old one. I already had activated it to my account. It worked right off like a charm with no issues. Speed I can tell is definaely faster. I need to do a speedtest and see. But its off to videogame land for now to do my own test there.
