I recently purchesed both the High and Low beam bulbs of these Silverstars and I have to say I'm impressed with these lights! You can purchase these bulbs (both sets) for a total price that is equal to just 1 set of the PIAA bulbs and i have to say they are actually brighter and less irritating to oncoming drivers than the Extreme White PIAA's.

i put them in my low beams and i have to agree they are great lights. I have piaa bulds in my lumina and I can't tell any diffence in the between the silverstars and the piaa outher than the fact that the silverstars are half the cost.

I have to agree with you guys. I bought mine a little over a year ago and they are shining bright, nice bright white; small hint of blue. I couldn't find them for my fog lights so I bought some other similar type lights. They blew out about 9-10 months after I put them in. I checked the SS bulbs that are close to the 881 they are the 880 and they are the same bulb. I bought those and put those in my fog lights. When I bought the ones in my headlights the guy where I bought them said that some people don't like them because they don't last long but I haven't had any problems with them. Final statement......Great bulb for the price.

I have the sealed beam version in my S10 and they are awesome.A pure bright light that reaches further than any standard and most if not all aftermarket bulbs.I will take some pics of them on at night when I get the chance to let others see just how bright and clear the light is.And usually sealed beams don't put out very much light compared to composites but they are just as bright as my brothers silverstars in his 02 Mustang. Two thumbs way up for Silverstars.

Just adding to the chorus, had them in my High and Lows for about a year now, very happy.

i just put them in for my high and low beams a few nights ago and i think they are great. the only problem is i need new headlights because the plastic is getting that haze on it that old plastic gets but everywhere i look for new 1's they are really expensive.
oo and 1 of my headlights is a different kind (1 of the is like a clear and the other 1 is like a diamond clear) because when the truck was still my uncles sum woman backed into him and busted the lense part of the headlight so he got a new 1
does any1 happen to have a set or know of a place on the internet to get a set cheap....dont say ebay cuz they r like $100 just for 1 headlight

I don't know if you have used them before or not Import but they are horrible for visability. They are just not as pure a white as the Silverstars.I have used them before and they are worthless compared to the Silverstars in my opinion.

I just want them for show, I already have some decent APC ones, but I think I will get the silverstar too. I still want to know where to get the blue ones.

Of course, I drive an F-150, but I have these lights in my truck.
I upgraded my foglights to the 60w 9005 light and I have the 9007 for my headlights. All are Sylvania Silverstars and there's nothing better besides the Sylvania Xenarc HID kit.

Here is a picture at night. Low beams with fog lights. Now that's bright light. The design of the Silverstars is to reflect road paint and signs much better. This picture shows it perfectly. Look how bright the lines are and the yellow roadsign ahead. Also, there was no flash used in this picture.
