So heres the scope,This is a prodject blazer.Drove into the garage put a body lift on over a weekend wnet to start it and battery was dead.No big deal right, well we put the charger to it for awhile and it would just crank over but not at full charge and never fired so it loaded it up with fuel my garage was pretty fumie. It sat for about a month. Then come to find later my son has been tring to start it on his own and i didnt know about all of them.Me and him was working on it today got it running again but Know i checked the oil and theres just has much GAS in the oil pan as there is oil.Any HELP with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I would first change the oil AND filter. Might have been just a stuck injector that cleared itself up once you got it running.

My 72 Ck10 had gas in the oil, but not that much. You could smell it in the oil when you pulled the dipstick. It had been very hard to crank and I had flooded it several times. I was told that it probably came from that, so I changed the oil and it has not done it anymore. I still have to pump the accellerator alot to get it to first crank, but am more careful not to flood it. I think the timing is off internally. It has a Cloyes true double roller timing gear set that can be advanced or retarted on installation and I think I have it retarded (I do not mean that litterally but do LOL). Enough about that, kinda got carried away. Flooding caused mine.:D

I had same problem turned out to be the plastic feed and return lines connected to the cpi were leaking flooding the intake. I ended up with about a gallon of gas in my oil pan and it also flooded the cylinders so cranking the engine was near impossible even with a fresh battery. just a possibility

like said before change the oil and filter and see if the problem keeps up then you can go from there
