if it's new with a warrenty yes. If you buying from private party try to get them down a hundred. Detriots were good lockers 5 years ago, but with them now being mass produced sometimes you get a bad unit. They'er real good about standing behind their product if you bought it new from a dealer though.

It's the same with anything though. if you buy something new from a dealer you don't have much to worry about, but if you buy something used(whether it's actually used or just unwanted) u have a 50/50 shot of getting screwed.
