Had truck read at advanceauto. Po420 came up,catalyst efficiency below threshold,bank 1.My question is which side of engine is bank 1?:confused:

Catalyst Effeciency is the O2 after the converter.
The O2s B4 are on Bank 1 Drivers and Bank 2 Passenger.
The 420 is either a bad cat or could come up if you eliminated the Pre-Cat

Had Ypipe and cats replaced 2months ago. Reused old o2 sensors,maybe downstream sensor went bad.

could be. have a shop check the exh temps B4 and after the cat.

since it said bank 1 that means the driver side so the O2 sensor on the y pipe (driver side) craped out

i got that same code on the dodge. idk bout the number but the "catalyst efficiency below threshold" and i thought it was cuz i removed the cat a few months prior

Welcome to the Planet. IWTTMB. I remember back in highschool there were a lot of kids that were 4-20 all the time.

my son is gonna be 2yrs old on 4/20. i hope i dont have to kick his ass when he gets to high school. :rolleyes:
