i finally got SOOOOOOOO sick of sprint customer service giving me the run-around, i decided to pay out of my contract. i wont bore you guys with the details, but short story is 6 phone swaps later and problem still not fixed is just tooooo much.

what REALLLLY got my goat... when i called to say 'ok lets go ahead and shut it down', the CSR puckered right up and offered to fix all my problems *AND* discount my monthly service - etc, etc etc, i simply told him it was too-little, too late.

i've switched over to verison, was able to keep my number and i'm SOOOOO happy to have thes tress of sprint off my back.

I hear you. It seems the only time somone wants to help you is when you decide to cancel and then they're all nice and can do things they couldn't do before. So now if I have a prob. I just say I'm cancelling and it usually gets fixed. If not I go ahead and cancel.

anyone that I know that has ever had sprint has gone back to their old service

Wow... sorry to hear your problems. I hope Verizon is better to you and you get good service.

I've been with Sprint for 9 years and have had no real problems with them or the service. If I did have a problem, I called... they fix it. I just don't understand all the problems "everyone" is talking about. I'm not saying you or anyone else didn't have problems... I've just never seen any for myself.

appreciate the sprint heads up....when ever my contract expires im switching from t-mobile to somebody else. service is okay but they are a pain in ass when it comes to phone accessory functions. i spent the extra money to get a phone that plays mp3's and takes video etc... only to find out that i cant use any of those things unless i down load a song from their web page (which is nothing but like 15 sec clips of a hand full of songs) loooong story short they put blocks in the phones they sell to only use stuff from their site. i was pissed but i already paid and signed

Verizon will treat you well. I never had any problems with dropped calls or anything.

verizon treats me like junk. Thats all I can say. I regret switching from Tmobile the but service with verizon here is great but everything else on the hidden fees and charges they got me on. Maybe its here but they ripped me hard.

Glad you got off sprint! It has always bugged me that companies, well most, only really step up and work for ya when they're about to lose you as a customer.

Wow that sucks. I have t-mobile but I've had my phone for a very long time so I wouldn't know about the newer ones. I've had no problems with T-mobile and they are pretty good about reception and no dropped calls, at least in my experience.
