Code 43

-Electronic spark timing (EST) circuit - low voltage detected
or
- Electronic spark control (ESC) - circuit problems

I am gonna ring out the connections, just want to know if it is a common problem..

Is there a module for for this or is it in the ECU for a 92. My 91 has a module?

I thought code 43 had to do with the knock sensors, one plugs into the drivers side head right by the #3 spark plug and the other is plugged into the pass side head on the back side of the head unfortunately.

I don't know, I am just trying to figure it out.

hey man I'm goin through this problem right now, still haven't found the ESC, pherhaps its with the ECM I dont know, still lookin though. if you find out lemme know dude, I'll keep ya updated with what happens. I've got a very rough idle feels like its missing and have code 42 and 43

I found the knock sensor to have a bad wire on the driver side and that cleared it up.
