caught: 69mph in a 45

It's been a while since I've actually been caught speeding... but it happened again this eve... I raced a little rice rocket. I was winning, the ricer needed to pull behind me in the lane I was in. The officer caught up next to us at the next red light and pulled me over. He said" I saw you both going like hell, but I caught you first on my radar" So I made it out with a $350.00 ticket with no chance to go to traffic school. But all in all, it's good the officer didn't realize we were racing and impound both cars. It was cool the officer agreed to letting me take a picture of his car behind mine. Sneaky undercover dodge intrepid.

wow, sorry about that. that's an expensive race. I've never seen a traffic cop that out of the norm. Around here, the most unmarked I've seen is where they don't have the light bar on the top, but they still have all the side markings. And never an intrepid either--always the standard cop car--impala or the comparable ford, whatever it is.

The cops around here use the seized cars for undercovers. Saw a riced out Maxima pulling people over a few months back.

Cool pic.....but under different circumstances. When I had the S2000 with 4.57 gears, I was racing a GTO. Never pulled on me but was ahead of course. Motorcycle cop on the median. Got us both, 89 in a 40, in a constuction zone with workers present.....OUCH. He was a real A-hole. Had to take aggressive and defensive drving in class, 50 hours a comm. service, $500 dollar ticket, probation for 6 months and $1000 for the lawyer to get it reduced so I wouldnt lose my license.

You definitely caught the lucky side to that deal. Glad all you walk away with is class and a fine even though it sucks

Ouch! My last ticket was 3 years ago in the Vette. He showed me the gun.... 86 in a 55(I was toying with a new Mustang GT). I said I was sorry, I was just having a bit of fun. He said he would be nice and write it for 74/55. That saved me $500+ because here... 20 over the limit is wreckless driving a $500 fine and traffic school etc. I didn't think to grab a photo. LOL

Ouch dude!! Ontario just implimented a new "Racing Law" call it "Bill 203" or something...anything 50Kms'hr over the speed limit is considered "Racing" and you get your car impounded for a week.
Someone around this area, actually Wingham, got nailed yesterday..it was on the news...160Kms/hr in a 90Km/hr zone..sucks to be him.

Got pulled over in Topeka by an unmarked Taurus. Said he had to do well over a hundred to catch up to me. He seemed surprised, I acted just as shocked as well. Got a warning as I seemed to be to quick for him to clock. Plus, there is no way an S-10 is that fast.
The Taurus just had the lights in front like the Intrepid above and a couple in the back window. I've been careful about speeding on I70 in Topeka ever since.

Yea man you gotta be careful in Topeka and Lawrence, that little Focus that is in Lawrence will get you everytime. He looks like a racer and if he gets you to race him he'll get ya. He got me, 93 in a 45, thanks god for top speed limiters lol. I never thought i would say it. I got off with a warning because he thought it was funny I actually had him through second gear.

Police here have a tonne of unmarked Intrepid's, Taurus's, Impalla's, Malibu's, and even the odd Tahoe. London even has a Beetle Bug.

:( we have the works here for undercovers and new sheriffs cars, of course the now outdated vicy's, the impalas, few chargers, seen a vette, ss silverados and tahoes, big dodge hemis, and a mustang. Haven't seen any ricer cop cars yet. There was rumors around the near by town due to the major increase of ricers and them racing each other. Something about if you race and get caught your car gets impounded for good and gets demolished but i dunno if they passed it or not.
