I new those spy pics of a four door charger were true and here is the proof!!
The Charger revives a storied name from American muscle-car history, and adds another car in the mostly-truck lineup from Dodge.
Powered with the same 340-h.p. Hemi V-8 or 250-h.p. V-6 with five-speed automatic transmission found in the Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300 sedans, the Charger is a four-door, five passenger vehicle with a coupe profile.
Like its wagon and sedan siblings, the rear-wheel driver Charger will come standard with electronic stability control, traction control and anti-lock brakes.
Three levels of suspension tuning will be available on the Dodge Charger. The standard "touring" package includes 17-inch tires, and is designed to provide nimble handling and a firm but comfortable ride.
Eighteen-inch tires and tuned dampers will offer added performance on HEMI-equipped Dodge Charger models.
Rounding out the suspension options is an optional Performance Handling Group, designed exclusively for the Dodge Charger. It offers firmer damping and enhanced steering.
The Dodge Charger interior has "a driver-oriented cockpit designed with a performance mind-set," says DaimlerChrysler. Its Viper-inspired tunnelled gauges are highlighted with white faces and satin silver accent rings.
Target market for Dodge Charger is mainly the highly-prized category of "young affluent males.Expected customers for this vehicle will be "looking for the thrilling ride and handling characteristics of a sports car, but with the added convenience of a functional, five passenger vehicle," suggests DaimlerChrysler.
The Dodge Charger is built at the Brampton, Ontario plant that produces the Dodge Magnum and Chrysler 300 sedans. It will be available in North American markets early this summer.http://www.sicgmtrucks.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=505&stc=1http://www.sicgmtrucks.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=506&stc=1
