Clear? Theyre already clear unless you mean without the reflectors. Theres no aftermarket headlights for the 98+ Sonoma headlights. You can remove the reflectors if you put the headlights in the oven for a few and the housing will pull apart.

X2. Unless you want to just remove the orange. Thar can be done with the stockers. But there are no aftermarket ones availible to my knowledge.

I am looking to get rid of the lines in the head lamps. could I do a swap and put a s-10 grill on becouse there is some of them lights I like and I got a old set of parking laps from my old 99 s-10 I had.

yeah, you can do an s10 front end conversion. I forget what all is involved, but it seems like someone on here has done it... or maybe it was the other way? or maybe someone was just talking about it. But yeah, it can be done. is the bumper the same?

What year is yours?
98-up will work as far as I know either way. (GMC to Chevy / Chevy to GMC)

I know this sounds like a cookin show but what kind of time and temperature do you need to put the stock Sonoma lamps in the oven? I want to clean my new ones up and make them look different.

just a warning from someone that has to inspect that kinda stuff.... some states WILL pull you over if your lens aren't the correct color or if you've bleached the originals....just keep that in mind

i have a 99 jimmy, i didn't have to put mine in the oven. just undid the 5 or so clips and gently and slowly pried the "lens" from the housing. then simply slid the yellow lenses out the bottom while having the two parts wedged apart. once done, put a small bead of gorilla glue on it, put the clips back on and get some amber bulbs. or silverstars like i did. they look pretty cool i think.

Ive read 350* for about 5-10 Min. The glue will be gooey. Pull apart, remove the orange and then reheat and cool to seal. Plus add some silicone. Ive seen a few threads about it on the S10Forum from people who have actually done the mod.

I need to buy new headlights because the previous owner did a half ass job on trying to clear them. :( But I went through NJ inspection without any problems and they usually dont allow too much.

you'll need the grille assembly. i think this is the right one. it says extreme, but I'm pretty sure there is not a difference. The only difference would be the bowtie in the center; i've seen some extremes with a different one. But you may want to mod it to not use one since you have a GMC. otherwise debadge the rest of the truck?

the thing I'm not sure of is if the radiator support is the same between
an s10 and sonoma, anyone know? b/c if not, you'll have to swap or the holes for headlight, parking light, and grille assembly won't line up.

If you don't have to swap rad supports, I'd say you could do it in about 30 minutes.

I tried clearing mine once but gave up because it seemed like I was going to break the lens when I was pulling them apart. Maybe I didn't heat it enough

Converting from a Sonoma front end to a S10 is downgrading. lol Maybe because I own a Sonoma....I dont know. I just think it looks better.

thanks I will ask a local body shop about the radiator support maybe they might know. I was going to debage my truck and put s-10 badges on it found alot of parts in some LMC truck catalog.

whatever floats your boat lol.....yeah i was under the same impression with the sonoma to s-10 being a down grade.... but at the same time i'd almost just rather trade trucks if i wanted the other, rather then spend the time and trouble of changing some apperances. but i've always been a function then form guy so i don't really care if its a gmc or s-10.... all the same to me
