Just had to boast a lil bit.. decided to take som epics of my head mount...
This is the first buck i got - i was 14 at the time... and it was 2nd weekend of season. The real kicker was opening day of my first day hunting.. i had 4 different bucks w/in about 75 yards that i couldnt take a shot at (house in the background about a half mile away)
ended up with this 6 pointer so i couldnt say no and had em stuffed :P
anyway... here he is

I dont have pictures of the deer, but I hunt em with a 4.3
This was on the morning of my 18th birthday, Dec 14th 2001, on my way to highschool. Deer came from the drivers side, head hit the front of the truck, busted up the grille, headlight, pushed the rad support back, caused the body to swing around and take out the drivers door. Killed the deer right then and there. One hell of a noise they make, if you have ever had the joy of taking one out, you'll know what i mean. Truck had been on the road for 2 weeks, to the day, this day. Dad, being a Licensed GM Bodyman, put a nice new doorskin on for me 2 days after the collision.
2 Weeks later, one night on the way to the G/F's place, exact same thing, EXACT SAME DAMAGE. I couldnt believe it, nor could my dad. This deer limped away, and prolly died in the farmers field..she wasnt movin too fast.

wooo buddy that things massive!!! lol I cant say i've done much better biggest one I have bagged so far is a 7 pointer. Would of had two nice 140-150 class 10 pointers but I missed. Thats what i get for buying a cheap ass scope and yes the scope was screwed up.

That's what I would blame it on Cody.

You get what you pay for.
Try a ZEISS scope, you wont go wrong out to about 1k yards.

IMHO its WAYYYYY cheaper to hunt em with bullets than a 4.3 :P I've seen a deer do $1300+ damage to a dime. Thankfully not MINE but still hehehe
biggest deer i've taken, point wise was a 7 point. I've got a pile of 5 & 6 pointers. Mostly your typical nice round basket racks. THere's a 4 pointer or two thrown in there too :P
biggest body deer i've taken dressed around 130-140lbs.
heck.. jerrod is proud to have dropped a buncha weight over a few years eating subway... I usually manage to drop 180 lbs every fall just drinking coffee and eating apples in my deer blind :P

dont blame the equipment. I've got a $40 tasco and can ding anything out to about 250 yds with it.
my bro has a $60 tasco on his 700 BDL and i can drive nails at 100-125 yds with that one hehehe
god i love my .30-06's
