Anyone have a ball park figure on what it would cost to repaint a second gen, extended cab S-10? My paint has begun to show the signs of constant bombardment of Louisiana mosquitoes and sun. It's also has it fair share of door dings to the stupidity of my fellow common man..
I had a couple of scrapes on my truck that I wanted to get fixed, but this morning while hanging out with my father before Easter dinner, we were talking about cars when he asked me what happened on my drivers side.
I wasn't aware there was something there but when I went and looked, there is a large scrape starting at my drivers door, all the way back down the cab, onto my bed and then going all the way to the rear step.
Some jackass not only turned their vehicle into my truck, they went all the way down the freaking side of it!! No amount of buffing will fix that as I can see primer in some spots.
I'm so fed up with the condition of the paint on my truck, I'm willing to say f*** it! and have my 3 door dings, a small gouge in the rear of the cab fixed, and have the truck resprayed in it's current color.
Anyone recently have their truck repainted the same color? If so how much did it run you?
