View Full Version : Looking for Leaf Springs
Howdy all, I am looking for a set of leaf springs for my 93 4 door Blazer project. One is broken. I thought maybe someone who'd lowered or lifted may have an old set that was just in the way. I'm hoping not to have to spend too much.
Thanks

Most people that lower or lift them are still going to be using the stock springs, just modifying them. So there probably won't be too many people that have extras.
I'm not sure about in 93, but I know there have been at least a few different versions of the springs over the years, so be careful on which ones you end up with.
You said one is broken, but were you planning on replacing both sides? Otherwise, I'd be worried about variations in wear and not being level from side to side.
Yea, that's what I meant by set. I was looking for a pair. May be a long shot, but you never know if you don't ask

I'll have a set from a second gen extended cab sonoma shortly - I'm not sure if they're the same as the blazers though. I'm swapping to ZQ8 springs sometime soon
Maybe T man or Mike can chime in on this, I'd guess they aren't the same.

Blazers had/ have a different spring rate then the trucks.
Your best bet is to get the springs for that model.

doh! i threw my original ones away.
I have a set on a 2 wd Jimmy. I think they are lower than a 4x4.
I suppose if they where a bit lower but the same length one could off set that with a set of shackles right? Or put a bravada T case in and lowride the love macheene!
