monitor driver driving me nuts!

ok so my dell pc has a dell monitor model #e772,I had a generic driver dated 1/30/2002,so I found a driver dated 6/7/2002 the found one dated 10/15/2004,well when I download either driver and try to load my pc searches for the driver in the spot I extract but it always says the driver I loading is older then the one I have!so if some one can help me find a driver newer then 1/30/2002 and version #3.0.0 please help.I had one that was 6.13 but now its gone and cant get it back!

Monitor drivers are almost useless. Unless the monitor has special or extended resolutions. I'm guessing that the default monitor driver will work just fine for you.

One question for you... Does it work fine and do what you want it to do? If so then leave it alone. LOL... That's how I always manage to jack stuff up. "Doing an update"

yea after fighting with it all night I noticed that too,the other drivers I dint notice a hair difference!

well Im trying to run 32 bit cause some programs Im wanting to run require 32 bit true color which I dont have!

It cost me $300 when I tried to update my bios and it ruined it.

my bios was running a01 now running a09 just fine no problems
