Tuteuk -- Help Please?

hey man, you seem to weigh in on alot of the audio concerns around here and you posted a link or made a post of the fibreglass enclosure. ive got all that down, but i just cant seem to be able to find any places around kitchener that sells the black carpet most sub enclosures are wrapped in, and i see you are from london, where do i get it? can you name a place that you know has it? drivin to london is no problem, i go by there plenty...

Forest City Surplus, at Dundas and 3rd sells it I believe. I know for a fact they have the grey stuff..they have a website you can have a look on..

I dont see anything on there, but I know they have covering material. If I'm in London this weekend, I'll tour on over that way and have a look for ya. Im only 40 minutes from London , and am in London all the time..grew up in Lambeth..so.
Have you tried a Craft store?

im still in toronto, and cant find anyone here thats willing to sell it, 4 frickin million people and nothing...

i called a generally solid place in KW, they said try KW surplus, visited their site which led me to forest city surplus actually, neither site lists it, but the guy i spoke to said hes pretty sure. so ill check there on friday. if they dont, ill probably stop into forest city on my way thru london mext wednesday.

if you know for sure they have the grey, the likelyhood is they have the black. if you are in london id appreciate you checking, but dont go out of your way, leave that to me.

all i was looking for was a CONFIRMED place they have it. not a try here, try there... ive done enough of that ****.haha

Jay they have it....But it is only grey I believe and they sell by the foot no probs...

I ordered some tweed from these guys and got a great deal shipping and all..:) I will shop there again no doubt..They have lots of ideas for coverings..:)

made it to KW surplus today, they had both grey and black. the guy ended up giving me 14 feet of the stuff which was supposed to be sold at 2.50 a foot, but i ended up paying 12.50, he didnt care what it costed me cause it looked like he was in a hurry so in essence it actually cost me 89 cents per foot... haha, i call that a pretty sweet deal. its a shame i wont need aaaannnnywhere near 14 feet.

i dont blame you, brought my girlfriend in there today to show her... first thing we walked by was a huge adjustable wrench, i pick it up, it had to weigh 15 pounds, i tell her see? this is why this place is incredible, anything obscure you need, come here. they got it all. shes like why would i ever need that. i said i dunno, and she just stared blankly at me... so i learned that KW surplus just isnt one of those places we each have a passion for... haha

Stop trying to explain the GUY stuff to your woman...:) They never understand, and the ones that do, are in the garage beside ya..;)
