Okay guys here it is. TOTM for May... We have openings for 6 candidates. So post up pics of your ride & a mod list (And please don't post more then 2 or 3 pics and no mod list no entry) The polls will not be open till 15th of the month. So the 15th is the deadline for entries if we have 6 or not thats it will end. If there is more then 6 then you will be given a email telling you to reapply the next month. If you have won already give it 6 months from when you won before you post up again please. So everyone has a chance. So post up what you got. And thanks for all your help guys!!!

The white one is more show than go. It has a Ram Jet 350 Crate engine(350hp 400tq). It is fully chromed out and looks beautiful. He needs to be bottle fed if he wants a shot at me :)

Slowsonoma's truck is clean as heck.
beckre's is the most original that I've ever seen with the rat rod inspiration.

LOL thanks a lot. Yeah I am demented for sure, but that is why I did it.... Just to do something different. I could have bought 2 syty's with the money I have put in this truck. And that is only because it has been trial and error (mostly error). Of course once the speed bug bites, you just continue to throw more and more parts at them until they blowup again. Then it all starts over again!!!

I still have every intention of owning an original Syclone here soon because I know the investment will pay off sometime down the road with less than 3k made.

No...all the trucks look great, but you can only vote for one...your favorite. Usually someone who likes Sonomas will vote for their favorite Sonoma and the same for first gen, second gen, extreme, etc... Dont be dicouraged, just enter next month.:D

contests like this i tend to say "if i could pick one of these trucks to take home with me, which would it be?" the obvious answer is...ALL OF THEM! but since i'm limited to one, it would be synoma this time around. and i'm only 120 miles away, so i could be there and back in a day.(and $150 worth of gas...)

just a question to throw out there. on orlandoextreme's truck, are the hood stripes put on the wrong sides? the very front of the stripes have a slight angle to them, looks like they're supposed to follow the lines of the hood, but it looks to me (and my friend) like they were put on the wrong sides. am i wrong?

no. its not. dont stress it.
i like to vote on the best looking truck that was entered by a s10planet regular. others might do the same, maybe not. my vote never goes to the guys you only see once a month. not saying that you do that.
just keep trying. there's been totally stock trucks win. so anyone has a chance here.

I think it is always interesting to see someone's "personal" stamp on their ride. We all have our visions of what our trucks should be and every once in while some of us are fortunate enough to see that vision become reality. I do appreciate the fact that a lot of people like my truck, but to be truthful it's more important that "I" like my truck vs winning awards. I learned that after entering so many shows without winning. lol

The great part about the s-series is that the versions are so drastically different from one another. Personally I do not like Fleetside trucks, but many people feel the same about the stepsides. It is that deversity that makes the s-series trucks the best.

the front stripes were supposed to be a lil further up the hood its the way the grill is angled I said the same after I picked em up, but ohh well I'll remember that when it comes time for the blazer's stripes
