Hi Guys,
Anyone use this type of fan control? It has the probe that goes in the radiator fin. I'm running a 160 thermostat. I think the ones that screw into the manifold are probably more accurate but I can't seem to find one in my temp range. The lowest one I see is the "on at 180* off at 170*". With a 160* they should come on at 170* and off at 150*. I don't think they make those. So I was thinking of using this Hayden one. It has the adjustable thermostat. Let me know your thoughts or if anyone had good or bad results. Thanks in advance.

I'm using one like it and have never had a prob.

Its as accurate as you set it. Ive run one for many years on my TransAm and had no issues. I chose to use thin zip ties and place the probe vertically against the endtank right where the fins and tank meet.

Mine is stuck through the radiator and has a rubber cap on the part that sticks through the other side(the front of the radiator) to keep it from reading incoming air.
