After close to 6 years of driving i got pulled over for the first time saturday night/sunday morning at about 3am. Its a pretty long story on how it happened. On my way home from a few bars and clubs in downtown Buffalo, i was driving down chippawa st. and had my windows down blasting music, my cousin happens to be walking down the street and he starts yellin from the side of the road and runs up to my truck, opens the door and hops in with me and my friend. He told me he lost everyone he was with and needed to get back to where they parked before they left. So i go down the street, make a few turns and head back towards chippawa. I was going to make a left onto chippawa off of deleware ave. and im in the middle of the intersection and the light turned yellow, the car ahead of me went and the cop waiting to go straight waved me by. so i turned left on a red and got stuck in traffic. Once the light turned green i had no where to go. The cop puts his lights on and told me to go pull over so i did. he comes up and tells me to watch the lights and not block traffic. I give him my license and registration. And my cousin jumped out so i could get in my glove box for the registration. The cop asks whats hes gettin out for so he told him. Then his friend who is a cop comes driving by so he yelled for him. The cop goes back to his car, im waiting for 10 min and we see another cop my cousin knows come by. Too bad no cops i knew were driving around at this time. The cop comes back and asks how he knew the cops and he told him, then asked how we knew each other, and then let me go without any tickets. What a way to get pulled over for the first time ever in my life. Im glad it wasnt for speeding cuz im good at that.

At least your doin better that this other guy I know. For general knowledge I am a vol. firefighter/EMT for the township I live in...anyways...my brother-in-law passed out in my living room from a blood clot in his shoulder from an injury he got at work on tuesday...scared me half to death, had ta give him CPR cause he started ta crash on me..then when I was at the hospital we got another call of a 10-50 and man was it bad...this guy was from a neighboring fire department and he was out drinking, on his way home he flipped his truck and got ejected(not wearing his seat belt), he died within 20 minutes after we got him to the ER, talk about a really bad night for me(not to mention the guys family).

yep, learned the hard way about seatbelts...passed out at the wheel one night to wake up to smashing though a telephone pole and hitting a tree after....spent that night in the hospital after breaking the steering wheel with my chest, slamming my head into the windshield and having part of the engine come through the firewall. how fun!

sorry to hear about the situations you guys were all in, yeah im lucky i didnt get a ticket because it could have turned into a few good ones. I too hate drunk drivers, my friend was killed back in July by a drunk driver, the guy walked away with a broken leg and cracked a few ribs. My friend was dead at the scene, he was hit head on when the guy was probably going close to 65mph after he crossed the lines. The truck was burned and nothing was left of it from the impact. My friend's brother and father were in the two cars following him, all on the way home from their farm. He was 20 years old and it was 3 weeks before his birthday. And people dont understand why i dont drink if im driving, they dont think that kind of thing can happen to them until it does.

nice importmaster, that is a big ticket, i have got you beat, i was doing 89 in a 55. The cop told me he had to clock me twice because he didnt think my truck would go that fast. I told him it was stuck in 2nd!. the kicker though is that he is a good friend of my stepdads, and he was at my moms wedding and the reception!!! 211 dollars later, i still dont like the prick

beat this one...

i was going 102 in a 50... ticket was 600$ cuz it was also in a construction zone( traffic fines double )....

cop pulled me over... gave me a ticket and said that he had me on laser going 102.. i said.. ok.. took the ticket... got out... took some pictures of where i was. I was actually 500ft before the construction zone... there was a sign not 15 feet from my car where i was pulled over.

I called up my moms friend who is a cop.. and asked him if a laser will actually work in the rain.. he said no.. the rain drops will disrupt the reading he could have only used a radar.

needless to say.. he wrote laser on the ticket. I went to court.. showed the judge my pictures and the ticket that said laser.... and the judge dismisses the case. not even on my record.
----
not even a month later... the SAME cop pulls me over again for going 87 in a 50... gives me a ticket and this time its correct...

i go to court... and plee no contest.. i get out of the ticket by going to a deversion course on wreckless driving... ticket is still not on my record and the cop was pissed. i only had to pay 20$ to attend the course.

i like messing with cops
