You speaking of the Street and Electronics Perf spacer for the late CPI?
If so, its as usefull as a TB Spacer. Ive heard the couple of people who did it wasnt impressed. Time and money didnt net happy results.

I had a 1988 S10 4.3 and TH700R4 and I got it an intake spacer, it installed pretty easily -just lift the TBI and slide it in with gaskets & bolt down. I was impressed with the result. Low RPM not much change but when going faster acceleration was improved. I wish I remembered what kind it was I got as I just got another S10 today cause I misssed that truck so much, and wanna do it all over again. The theory was that it allowed an inch or so more space between the throttle body and intake manifold so the air/fuel mixture can gain more velocity on its way in? Whatever the theory, it worked and I also got 26MPG with that truck. I also had Jacobs ignition wires and a Jacobs Ultra Coil and a K&N air filter on it.

You have a TBI, not a CPI/SMFI. Adding more volume before the injectors doesn't do anything. It isn't false advertising, it does exactly what it says... gives you more intake volume, which has no benefit.

It isn't false advertising, it does exactly what it says... gives you more intake volume, which has no benefit. Unless you want your intake louder. Then more volume is exactly what you need. I want my intake to set off car alarms and rattle my tag. So I want it to have a sh1t load of volume! :p

personally I would just go buy a marine intake it adds more power and it has upgradeable injectors then throw on my ported TB I port them to 73mm and smooth them out removing alot of metal its the max I can port them without making a new blade it seems to make a difference

I thought about it, but that marine intake is a boat anchor.

true but for the cost its better if you got the money get a sheet metal intake
