I'd be a little leery of that auction. Newegg sells those for about $500, so unless this guy is that confident that his bids are going to skyrocket, he has other things going on here. One thing that I noticed is that he says to allow for 4-6weeks for shipping. That's a long time to get something from New Jersey.

Yes. The shipping time sux. He has several of these for sale though.

After thinking about, I think I'll wait. Sounds too good to be true. I also don't want to wait 4-6 weeks.

Too big for my tastes. When talking portable, nothing beats my 8gb flash drive compete with bootable OS. I like the WD book drives that are 300-500gb in size. They actually use a laptop hard drive so they are compact. I think if you shop around, you'll beat eBay prices on most anything, especially technology.
But beware when buying enclosed hard drives. I bought one from one of the big manufacturers and one day when it died, i busted it open only to find a remanufactured hard drive inside. That's one of the whole reasons they put the "void if seal is broken" sticker on the outside cause they put crap on the inside.
There's only a couple things I wouldn't buy remanned and a hard drive is one of them.

Thanks for the info. I like to know all I can about something before I buy it.
