Who does the best work & who has the better lead designer?

i like the overhaulin better... Foose has the crazy *** designs... and everyone on that team does a great job

Overhaulin' -- hands down. Coddington and crew usually half-*** things, and then whine, cuss and complain when their deadline gets close. Substandard work, IMHO.

Who made Boyd Coddingtons reputation in the industry for one off's and specialities designs? It was Chip Foose starting in 1991 and left under bad circumstances in 1998, then shortly afterwards Boyds Hot Rods filed chapter 11!!!

Sam Foose, then Chip Foose along with Jesse James and a host of others made Boyd Coddington what he is known for today in the high end rod market.Before then he was just a man restoing hot rods in the right arena, California sticking his nose into the right butts just to survive!!

The two shows are totaly different,time frame wise!But CHIP's show is by far the better show,and his work is far better too!I think he won the RIDDLER award like 3/4 yrs in a row,or something like that!

And chip just hired boyd's painter.........oh what's his name?IM OLD!

Charley went to Foose actually a few months back as the lead man to do the complete body for this years attempt at the Riddler award!!! Foose missed out last year due to time constraints, something Boyd would have still pushed to get done for a show, substandard like!

i would have to go with overhaulin..i'm sick of these shows with all the *****in'and complaning i hear that sh*t all day at work i don't want to hear it when i'm chillin' watching tv with my son.

who cares about who makes better cars the chick from overhaulin's hot. just kidding both shows are good but my vote goes to overhaulin those guys on that show are quick. all the stuff they do to a car in like a week thats not easy. plus they do it to people who have no clue whats going on.
