I got a 1989 s10 4.3l with 124k orig miles. Runs great but the vavle seals have been a problem for awhile now and are getting worse. I need to know what seals i should buy for my 4.3l, I seen the valve seal kit from autozone made by felpro, and what valve spring compressor should i get? How long will the job take?

Heres a link to the valve seals.

it will take most of your saturday if you work steady on it. go to summit or jegs and pick a valve spring compressor. any of them will work, just get one that will remove the springs without having to remove the heads. you will also need a device to put in the cyl. to stop the valves from falling through the heads. i bought a air hold adapter and found that it didn't hold the valves in so i just stuffed a rope in the cylinder and turned the crank till it was snug.
