Hello guys, i have a question about 1st +2nd gen blazer/p-up leafs, my cameotruck has a payload of 1,625lbs+ my blazer only has a payload of 670lbs. the p-up i would like lower in the ass, the blazer already squats. i would like to keep the cameo orig. since it is still unmolested, can i remove one leaf from the cameo, it has four and add that one to the 2nd gen. blazer, if this is poss.which leaf would you add/remove? I'm betting some of you will know! plus you will save me from having to roll around under them with a tape measure! Thanks in advance.Dan

If I had to guess it would be the bottom spring.

Thanks Eric, I guess i'll have to measure'em up! i read through six pages in the driveline section and there is some good info there but nothing about interchange of 1st to 2nd gen swap. a tape should tell the tale! Thanks again,Dan

also remember...the very bottom spring that isnt attatched to the spring pack on the ends is your overlaod spring, which is why it isnt attatched on the ends. this is so when it squats that much, it will gput pressure and in theory wont squat much beyond that. the one above that should work...which would be the 3rd one down. watch out when grindin that bolt off the top ot the leafs, cuz when it gets thin enough to let go...it lets go. you will also have to grind whatever bolt you put back on the leafs round to .90 rounded.

Instead of being a cheap mother I guess i could put blocks in p-up+air shocks on the blazer.I like to stretch the buck till it screams!

its not nearly as hard as it sounds. all the tools you need is a side grinder, bench grinder, vise grips, and a c-clamp. just 2 bolts for each side and youll be good. its not nearly as hard as it sounds.
