I don't like those ugly plastic things that you can get. So I came up with my own.
When I bought my Blazer, the door sills (where people put their feet when they get in) had some scratches on it and got more from my son after I bought it. He also slipped off one time and smacked his shin on it. So this will add grip too.
But anyway. I went to a skate board shop and bought some grip tape. They have all kinds of colors. Even clear. My Blazer is black so I bought black. It is super sticky. I cut it to fit. And it works perfectly. Covers up all the scratches and adds grip so nobody slips off when it is wet out. It looks good. I will take a pic and put it up here. Its been on there for about 9 months.
