The nut kit can be removed without removing the lower intake manifold right? I didn't see this specifically addressed in my searches. The Haynes manual is also worthless.
Can it be fished out throught the rear by the fire wall? Can it be fished back in without ruining the new lines? If it is addressed elsewhere a link would be much appreciated. Thankyou. 1993 4.3 with cpi

Yea just need to take off the upper intake and remove your hood per it helps :D When I replaced my nut kit my screws (believe were allen) were stripped so I had to use a small hand saw to get bracket out to remove the lines but everything went in and it did run after putting everything back together..not major surgery but the most I have ever been involved and still proud of it :o and I did have the luxury of it being parked not my dd that helped :p . Good luck

Sweet. The hood is already off anyway as I am awaiting fenders that have something other than rust on them! Thanks for the advice!
