First off you have a 1999 4.3 right?
Dump the TB Spacer. Its useless...search it.
The CAI isnt reused on the SC kit anyways, so you could sell it for some money. By itself its a wise choice tho.
The programmer is useless with the SC Kit since Al sends you a pre preogrammed PCM with the kit. So theres some more money in your pocket on selling stuff you wont need.
Having a hight flow exhaust helps. Al recommends headers. Good idea to start a search to find some decent used headers. They are expensive new, but at times you can find them on closeout or used for a reasonable price. They arent 'needed' for the SC install, but they will help out. Get a y-pipe made too and delete the pre-cat. Search that too.
As far as it blowing up your truck. Thats not really possible unless you are abusive, neglect it and have high miles. The Jammer is only 6 psi. You can get the extra bypass kit from Al for safety. He has a reprogrammed PCM which aids in keeping it safe for a stock truck. Additionally you would want an ignition box with boost retard. Just as a safety and it also will add some power.
If you get anything additional B4 you order the kit like Y-pipe, Headers, Ignition, etc. Then tell Al ahead of time and he will have the PCM custom tuned for your setup.

A boost gauge, fuel pressure gauge and an air to fuel ratio monitor would be good things to get. You don't have to have them, but they are good to have so you can tell if anything goes wrong.

You will need colder plugs and a hotter coil also.

im thinking about getting one but all i have done to my truck is coldair intake, throttle body spacer, hypertech programmer, and flowmaster. what will i need to do so if i get this i wont blow up my truck its suggested you use a spark plug thats 1 heat range colder and a hotter coil. im using NGK V-Power TR6 4177. its also a good idea to use premium gas. thats pretty much all you need to keep it safe.
you will need to lose all you just mentioned except the flowmaster of course. the kit comes with a PCM thats programmed for the s/c. there's a lot of other stuff that you dont "need" but you'll probably want. click on the links i posted and read them. also try searching with the search feature. there's alotta info floating around here. if you have any more questions just post them on this thread.

this is the coil i use. Al alway suggests the MSD blaster coil but i never found one thats vehicle specific and this puts out the same volts (48k) so its fine. http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ACC%2D140024&N=700+4294908216+4294840129+4294907469+4294890813+ 115&autoview=sku (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=ACC%2D140024&N=700+4294908216+4294840129+4294907469+4294890813+ 115&autoview=sku)

do u have to have all this stuff before u put the sc on or can u buy the charger then add things as you go?? another problem is i have 147K miles on my truck. do i need to change the timing chain?? oh and u know where u can change ur shifting firmness and when to shift on that power programmer?? will that not work with the sc?? i like that firmness.

i dont see 147k being a problem. but i guess it depends. as long ass every thing is in good working order you should be fine.
D-caf is using factor spec platinum's and the original acdelco coil. but he has a msd ign control box. u really dont need any of it i suppose. but if you wanna be sure u have enough spark and you dont get detonation then get some good wires, colder plugs and a hotter coil. thats it. you can get all the other stuff later.

so will that programmer be pointless or what? does that pcm have any affect on the trans. i wanted to keep the firmness and when it shifts at high rpms

yeah they do that. its programmed by pcm4less. the only reson i could think of u keeping it would be to scan for troble codes or correct the speedometer for taller tires or gears if you choose to get some later. but then agian you can always send the PCM to them and they'll update it.

I know the kit is a decent amount of money.....when I had the kit, my truck was bone stock and ran perfectly fine with what came in the kit. I did buy a air/fuel meter and boost gauge for monitoring. I would just buy the kit and add as needed.

I wouldnt link the Hypertech to the new PCM at all.
