i got a 94 fullsize blazer that im pulling the 350 motor out of, and tranny.\
Im thanking bout puttin it in a lil late model S10 Blazer. it done been done to it once from the last owner.
i was wondering how hard it would be to make this thang a lil fast s10 hotrod toy for the ****s and giggles, BUT How hard is it to get one to get traction?
otherwise should i put it in a car????
thanks guys

Do it. It's not that hard. For traction just get some lakewoods.

..You honestly think on an S10 forum such as this we'd tell you put that V8 in a car??? hahaha.. Hell No! Drop it in the S truck & have a blast, dude. What yr S10 blazer were you thinking of droppin it into? Late as in 2nd gen or late as in early '90s 1st gens? It'd be a heck of a lot easier to do a '94 350 into an earlier blazer. Somewhere in the area of '89-94 blazer/jimmy. Be sure to keep the wiring harness & ECM w/ that 350.. it's a TBI, right? Find a TBI blazer & you won't need to change the fuel pump out for the lower pressure TBI/carb pump.

Yea, the 700R4 will need either a shift controller (availible from GM or aftermarket companies) since you're more than likely not running an ECM since you converted it to carb or you'll have to manually shift it.. which you could do that by using a manual valve body.

I think I've seen Manual Valve bodies for 2 to 4 hundred dollars from various sources.
