Has any one put a electric water pump on their 4.3L V6? Is it worth it?I have seen horsepowertv they put one on a V8. Does anyone even make one for the V6? What gains of freeing up hp/torque? How much? Thanks

what year 4.3 are you wanting to put it on? the pump for a 350 should bolt right up either way though.

If all it sees is track time, maybe I'd think about one.

X2. But you will also have to consider the routing of the belt. Or go with a multi - v belt setup from an earlier motor.

I wouldn't do it.

Sparky has one on his Blazer and has said it works fine. It's the same as the 350sbc and most V8 guys get ~7hp more out of it. Don't know about the belt routing.
