Spammers

So for the past few days my Yahoo E-mail inbox has been getting filled with spam. Its from 2 sources.
One is __________@laposte.net. The blank is filled in with a random name like ruby.wooten or nina.gagnon
The title of each message is the same eash day and is porn related. Like today I got 4 messages from 4 different names in the blank (as shown above) but the title was the same. 'dirty moo-moo hardcore................' You get the picture.

The other I will have to get back later on. I havent got the mail from them yet today. But rest assured by tonight I will have.

I have a spam blocker on the YahooClassicMail and I always dont open them and I check them as spam. But it does no good.

Is there any other way to block them?

I searched and all I found from others who have been getting this spammers mail lately is to report it to the spam report site. Seems that hasnt done any good.

The email address is a red-herring, it's forged, it is almost certainly not coming from that email address.

It's sad, but there is almost nothing you can do to eliminate it. You can flag it as spam and report it to Yahoo, it may help make their spam filters smart enough to catch it in the future, but in the end the spammers will change the content just enough that the filters won't get it.

It sucks, I actually run my own email server and fight spammers all the time. I have complete control of my email system, and I still get spam through. Just an utter pain in the ass. Wish the Gov hadn't gone chicken and neutered the CAN-SPAM act. It's practically worthless.

Spam sucks ass. I've been pretty lucky that I don't get too much crap in my e-mail accounts. I have one with Juno that I have used since the late nineties. Biggest portion of spam I get there is from flowers.com but it's been dwindling lately.

Doesn't seem that long. Seems like just yesterday people were still roving around on BBS's.

I use GMail, its super goodas far as blocking spam, but u need an "Invite" to open a GMail account, if u need one send me a PM ill send u an invite if u wanted to try it out.

I have f*cking spammers commenting pics on my website! The message me through the contact me link.... GRRRR If I ever catch a real spammer I will take a 2x4 to their head.
