is it a good idea to put one in a 4l60E i have one but have heard that they can burn up the 2-4 band quicker than normal. I am thinking about putting a b&m electronic shift kit on it. would both of theses work well together?

Generally makes the band last longer. Quicker engagement = less slippage.

I agree with sparky. I have had mine for several months and haven't had any problems.

They make them for the 1982-1993 700r4. They sell them here (http://www.racenet.net/drivetrn/bm-shift-kit.php).

I've had mine since february, and I have to recommend it!
I run the vette servo, b&m transpak, and the b&m electronic shiftimprover all together. Very nice combination.

I have the vette servo and a few other parts from KDS that made a night and day difference.Their web sight is down or something. But I am very well pleased with the servo.

I too am pleased with the performance that the corvette servo provided. I have had mine installed for a year without any problems. I also have a boost valve for a 700-r4 that will not work with my 4l60e. Anyone interested?
