Yes you can put 12s in your truck and not lose much room. i have an audiobahn aw1200q high excursion sub(which aint no shallow sub) in a truck box with a 3/4inch spacer runnin on a power acoustik LT1920/2 amp. i have the sub sittin behind the bucket seats in the middle and the amp is sittin dead on top. the ground is ran to the drivers side bolt holding the seat down and the power is ran on the other side of the truck through the fire wall. the rca are ran through the dash behind the gauges and up under the floor. as for mounting the amp whats the point the seats are leaned back and it holds the thing in place so im not worried bout it. give me a few days and ill post some pics...

i had 2 12" Kicker Comp VRs at one point and then another time i had 2 12" RF HE2s behind the seat in a regular cab with a bench!

Anything is possible. Probable, no -- but definitely possible.
