i was wondering i ran across this site sytyperformance.com
and i was wondering if i could use any of there engine parts on my 4.3 ?
i emailed the guy and he never answered me back...
soo yall seem like a smart group of folks..what are your thoughts on this ?

what about there 4brl intakes that are converted to use fuel rails ?
how would you use one ?

Those are for vortec heads.
It's the "2114" conversion.

soo i could run a set of vortec heads on my '91 4.3 and then use the 2114 conversion...
hmmm...may have hit on something here...
ive got the 2114, check out my thread "bad news good news in the blowers section, and search for 2114, you'll find a ton of info.

They've been around for a long time - that site is just a mirror site for Race Proven Motors.
I think you need to modify the vortec heads slightly to run them on a non-vortec block but I get the impression from syty.net that it's not a big deal. I don't know how the EFI management would work on your truck though - you may have to go to a stand alone controller like Big Stuff 3 to control fuelling.
Mods like that would only be worth it if you're planning on forced induction of some sort - you'd be looking at thousands just to swap the heads and get the fuelling set up.
you dont have to modify the heads to fit on a non-vortec block, there really isnt such thing as a vortec/non-vortec block anyways. you have to modify the vortec heads and the intake if you plan to use a non-vortec intake on vortec heads
